and monitor it, restarting it as necessary should it die or stop passing traffic.

Installation
Install the latest version of autossh
as follows:
guix install autossh
Or install a particular version:
guix install autossh@1.4g
You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell
