Gunicorn ‘Green Unicorn’ is a Python WSGI HTTP Server for UNIX. It’s a pre-fork worker model ported from Ruby’s Unicorn project. The Gunicorn server is broadly compatible with various web frameworks, simply implemented, light on server resources, and fairly speedy.

Installation

Install gunicorn 21.2.0 as follows:

guix install gunicorn@21.2.0

Or install the latest version:

guix install gunicorn

The gunicorn package provides more outputs besides the default (out). You can install them by appending :output-name to the package specification. For example:

guix install gunicorn:doc

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
