Arphic (Chinese) font packages

These are font bundles for the Chinese Arphic fonts which work with the CJK package. TrueType versions of these fonts for use with XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX are provided by the arphic-ttf package.

Installation

Install texlive-arphic 2025.2 as follows:

guix install texlive-arphic@2025.2

Or install the latest version:

guix install texlive-arphic

The texlive-arphic package provides more outputs besides the default (out). You can install them by appending :output-name to the package specification. For example:

guix install texlive-arphic:doc

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
