Use the ASCII font in LaTeX
The package provides glyph and font access commands so that LaTeX users can use the ASCII glyphs in their documents. The ASCII font is encoded according to the IBM PC Code Page 437 C0 Graphics.

Installation
Install texlive-ascii-font 2025.2 as follows:
guix install texlive-ascii-font@2025.2
Or install the latest version:
guix install texlive-ascii-font
The texlive-ascii-font package provides more outputs besides the default (out). You can install them by appending :output-name to the package specification. For example:
guix install texlive-ascii-font:doc
