texlive-scalebar 2025.2

Create scalebars for maps, diagrams or photos

This is a small package to create scalebars for maps, diagrams or photos. It was designed for use with cave maps but can be used for anything from showing a scalebar in kilometres for topographic maps to a scalebar in micrometres for an electron microscope image.

Installation

Install texlive-scalebar 2025.2 as follows:

guix install texlive-scalebar@2025.2

Or install the latest version:

guix install texlive-scalebar

The texlive-scalebar package provides more outputs besides the default (out). You can install them by appending :output-name to the package specification. For example:

guix install texlive-scalebar:doc

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
