Place boxes at arbitrary positions on the LaTeX page

This package provides a package to facilitate placement of boxes at absolute positions on the LaTeX page. There are several reasons why this might be useful, an important one being to help the creation of large-format conference posters.

Installation

Install texlive-textpos 2024.2 as follows:

guix install texlive-textpos@2024.2

Or install the latest version:

guix install texlive-textpos

The texlive-textpos package provides more outputs besides the default (out). You can install them by appending :output-name to the package specification. For example:

guix install texlive-textpos:doc

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
