texlive-tikz-optics

Library for drawing optical setups with TikZ

This package provides a new TikZ library designed to easily draw optical setups with TikZ. It provides shapes for lens, mirror, etc. The geometrically (in)correct computation of light rays through the setup is left to the user.

Installation

Install the latest version of texlive-tikz-optics as follows:

guix install texlive-tikz-optics

Or install a particular version:

guix install texlive-tikz-optics@2024.2

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
