fish-foreign-env

Foreign environment interface for fish shell

fish-foreign-env wraps bash script execution in a way that environment variables that are exported or modified get imported back into fish.

Installation

Install the latest version of fish-foreign-env as follows:

guix install fish-foreign-env

Or install a particular version:

guix install fish-foreign-env@0.20230823

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
