groff

Typesetting from plain text mixed with formatting commands

Groff is a typesetting package that reads plain text and produces formatted output based on formatting commands contained within the text. It is usually the formatter of "man" documentation pages.

Installation

Install the latest version of groff as follows:

guix install groff

Or install a particular version:

guix install groff@1.22.4

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
