python-astropy

Core package for Astronomy in Python

Astropy is a single core package for Astronomy in Python. It contains much of the core functionality and some common tools needed for performing astronomy and astrophysics.

Installation

Install the latest version of python-astropy as follows:

guix install python-astropy

Or install a particular version:

guix install python-astropy@6.1.7

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
