python-audioread

Decode audio files using whichever backend is available

This package provides a Python library for audo decoding. It uses whatever audio backend is available, such as GStreamer, Core Audio, MAD, FFmpeg, etc.

Installation

Install the latest version of python-audioread as follows:

guix install python-audioread

Or install a particular version:

guix install python-audioread@3.0.1

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
