Clock-driven simulator for spiking neural networks

Brian is a simulator for spiking neural networks written in Python. It is therefore designed to be easy to learn and use, highly flexible and easily extensible.

Installation

Install the latest version of python-brian2 as follows:

guix install python-brian2

Or install a particular version:

guix install python-brian2@2.5.1

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
