python-pip

Package manager for Python software

Pip is a package manager for Python software, that finds packages on the Python Package Index (PyPI).

Installation

Install the latest version of python-pip as follows:

guix install python-pip

Or install a particular version:

guix install python-pip@23.1

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
