python-xarray

N-D labeled arrays and datasets

Xarray (formerly xray) makes working with labelled multi-dimensional arrays simple, efficient, and fun!

Xarray introduces labels in the form of dimensions, coordinates and attributes on top of raw NumPy-like arrays, which allows for a more intuitive, more concise, and less error-prone developer experience. The package includes a large and growing library of domain-agnostic functions for advanced analytics and visualization with these data structures.

Installation

Install the latest version of python-xarray as follows:

guix install python-xarray

Or install a particular version:

guix install python-xarray@2023.12.0

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
