w-scan

Scan ATSC/DVB-C/DVB-S/DVB-T channels

This is a small command line utility used to perform frequency scans for DVB and ATSC transmissions without initial tuning data. It can print the result in several formats:

VDR channels.conf,
czap/tzap/xine/mplayer channels.conf,
Gstreamer dvbsrc plugin,
VLC xspf playlist,
XML,
initial tuning data for scan or dvbv5-scan.

Installation

Install the latest version of w-scan as follows:

guix install w-scan

Or install a particular version:

guix install w-scan@20170107

You can also install packages in augmented, pure or containerized environments for development or simply to try them out without polluting your user profile. See the guix shell documentation for more information.
