wmname
Print or set the window manager name
wmname
prints/sets the window manager name property of the root window similar to how hostname
behaves. It is useful for fixing problems with JDK versions and other broken programs assuming a reparenting window manager for instance.

Installation
Install the latest version of wmname
as follows:
guix install wmname
Or install a particular version:
guix install wmname@0.1
